cosmopawlitan display

my work is on display at a wonderful spa and pet boutique in the harborfront area.

cosmopawlitan pet boutique & spa

they are located at 478 queens quay blvd west (west of spadina) in toronto.

3 of my 20x24 canvasses of gorgeous dogs are smiling back from their walls. if you're in the area, check it out. it's a great place to take your pets to be pampered.

which reminds me, when is it my turn to get a spa day?!

watching them grow

one of the greatest pleasures i receive from working with children is that i get to feel so absolutely privileged to be able to watch them grow.

my little friend "s" and i go way back. i've known him even before he was born. i photographed his mom with her family at their cottage when she was only 4 months pregnant with him.

"s" is now 2 years old and i've been fortunate to photograph him every summer since he was born.

we meet again recently and i got such a kick out of hearing "s" count to twenty, obsess over thomas the train (what little boy doesn't?) and chug his milk back (which called for a few wardrobe changes..ha, ha). i even let him take a few photos of me with his thomas (what else?) themed camera. a future photographer perhaps?!

can't wait until next year!

ode to odin

i just heard the very sad news of the sudden passing of a lovely little dog that i photographed when i was only a hobbiest photographer.

i met sweet odin at the park with his dog walker in 2004. i only took a few frames of him, but his soulful expression captured my heart immediately and eventually he went on to grace my early portfolio.

farewell friend.
